Join us the second Wednesday of the month at the Lucky Lab Brew Pub in Multnomah Village [7675 S.W. Capitol Hwy, Portland, Oregon]. Gather around 6:30 PM for socializing; the meeting program starts at 7:00 PM sharp and ends around 8:30 PM.
Enjoy excellent food, beverages, raffle prizes, fishing stories, and great conversation.
April 9: Scott Richmond - a noted local author and the man behind the Westfly website - will describe the major opportunities of the seven distinct seasons on the Deschutes River in Central Oregon and how you can take advantage of them. That of course comes with Scott's proviso that it's not all biscuits and gravy - some opportunities come from unique challenges but lucky for those attending, Scott will be happy to share them with you!
May 14: Joel La Follette will return with a program called "New Challenges". He will discuss how he explores new areas and some of the new fisheries he has found. Finding new challenges or goals - or even making the 'bucket list' always keeps things interesting! Come hear Joel's take.
June 11: Doug Ray and Melissa Graeper will make a return trip - after falling just short of the metro area on their last attempt due to that annual snow event - to regale us on the coastal projects that TVTU has been working on over the past number of year. A dynamic and energetic speaker, Doug received Hero of Conservation recognition from Field & Stream and has also been a main organizer of the Wild North Coast Chapter of TU.
