Author of Trout from Small Streams, Dave will discuss tackle selection, effective fly selection, tactics and techniques to master the small stream. Also included is TENKARA. Dave grew up as many have with fishing the small regional streams and brooks.

March 11: Jeff Morgan-"The Oddballs"
Author Jeff Morgan is a fly fisherman, historian, and professional fly tier. His first book, "An Angler's Guide to the Oregon Cascades" was his senior honors thesis at Oregon State University. Self-published and distributed, it sold over 4000 copies in its first run and described by the famed angling writer Gary LaFontaine as "the best regional flyfishing guide I've ever read." His other works include "Small Stream Flyfishing" and "Productive Trout Flies for Unorthodox Prey: The Oddballs." He is currently a writer, teacher, and lecturer based in Portland.
Jeff will be using his knowledge from "Unorthodox" and reviewing the other critters that should be be a part of every trout fisherman's repertoire on the stream - the less famous targets of gastronomical satiation!
April 8: Rob Crandall-"Steelhead Mysteries-Winter and Summer Tricks & Techniques"
Rob Crandall grew up on the banks of the Clackmas River chasing steelhead from a young age. Now 23 years of guiding experience under his belt, his passion for fly fishing is reflected in his love for sharing golden nuggets of fishy knowledge helping others find more success on the water.
Rob is the owner of Water Time Outfitters guiding with his team of guides on some of Oregon’s best waters like the North Coast, Clackamas and Deschutes Rivers.
